Change Your Focus & Take a Photo

To begin focusing on manifesting start by noticing. Notice what it is that stands out to you when you wake up in the morning; where are your first thoughts going? Where are your last thoughts leading you as you drift off to sleep?  Do you feel good? Do your thoughts highlight the beautiful moments of your life or is it a reel of panic, doomsday, anxiety and worry?

Perspective is so incredibly important; perhaps this is one of the reasons I enjoy photography so much, because when I hold my camera I have a tool in my hand that allows me to focus in on what captures my attention and piques my inspiration. I have always had the uncanny ability to take a bland, everyday scene and zoom in on something unique, captivating and beautiful.

Try applying this example to your everyday life, but without the camera. Pause and take in your normal surroundings and environment and pick something to focus your attention on that makes you feel good. Blur out the rest.

Does this erase the things that make you feel less than happy? No. But it does allow you to take a much needed break from forcing yourself to try to see and take in everything happening around you, regardless of whether that’s conducive to anything other than setting yourself up to feel shitty? Eventually, with practice, yes.

Today go out in the world with your phone or your camera and intentionally focus on a piece of your day that is worthy of capturing.  Then do that with your mind and capture the moments worth remembering … replay them before you go to sleep and you’ve just created a routine that will help to raise your vibration & shift your focus.
